A: No one was too surprised when we announced our plan. We’re known for surprising people with what we are doing. And given that Allison’s mother did this exact same thing with the family when Allison was 13, well, no one could really argue! (Although that trip was for 4 months, not years… but still.) We are lucky to have friends and family who have come to visit and have more plans to visit in the future.
