We’re in Panama. Did a quick stop at the mall to get a SIM card for my phone and now we’re at the hotel we’ll be staying at for 3 nights. It’s not hot today, but it sure is “wetty”. That’s our term for humid. It’s so wetty, the tile floors in our room have a misty sheen to them and the screen on the TV is wet.
Here are a few observation in no particular order:
Daniel’s passport. It’s THAT humid.
They have to encase all paper products here so they do not fall victim to the humidity. Funny.
Lines are optional here in Panama. And each cashier has her own assistant. That’s handy. You’d think that would speed up the process but you would be wrong.
Many differences… one is their personal space. Zoe was using a hand air dryer in the bathroom and someone just came right up next to her to share the air to dry their hands too. Wow.
