Have you noticed that I keep telling y’all to visit? And I say that I’ll pick you up at the airport and show you a great time in Colombia?? Well, someone listened! Mary Middlebrook is yet another internet-first friend. We met when Haley and Zoe started taking classes offered by her online school. Genetics with a Harry Potter theme, Marine Biology, Vikings, Fractions… Mary offers an amazing variety of classes and they are all fantastic. We’ve really enjoyed getting to know her online and the kids have learned so much.
Mary lives in Los Angeles but every time she has an opportunity, she hits the open road. We’ve been in a lot of the same places but not at the same time. But finally the time came and we planned to be in the same country! Mary arrived a few days ago and we’ve been crazy busy wandering all over Medellin, showing her the highlights and discovering new things at the same time.
One thing I love about Mary is that she’s a blogger too. Real, interesting, genuine blogging telling us the stories of her adventures. This is not a travel blog, this is “Mary’s trip” blog. So instead of sharing with you all that we’ve been doing from my perspective, I will simply link to her blog and let you read about it from her. #lazy She’s even more prolific as she blogs daily about her adventures.
