Q: Where are your favorite places?

Dan Sherman Posted onNovember 26, 2015August 3, 2018 Leave a Comment 1152 Views

A:  I think we would all answer that with “Gilbert, Arizona”. Simply put, there’s no place like home. But of course we love so many other places too. Zoe used to say her favorite place was Panama. She was adored at public school and had the entire town as her 1000 closest friends. It’s hard not to love that. But she has an amazing social network in Medellin, Colombia thanks to the private school where she attends. Haley’s favorite place was Cancun, with her love of cenotes but she’s also finding her groove in Colombia. Dan misses Mexico and the warm weather and relative ease and convenience of familiar stores and food. Allison will say that she loved Puebla, Mexico for the weather and the convenience but Medellin is feeling a lot like home now. Spain was not a favorite for any of us, but of course we had some amazing experiences there. South Africa is fascinating and we learned more there than any other country, if such a thing can be quantified. There’s a lot of the world we have yet to explore. But continue to watch this blog for our favorites. Get your email on our notification list to the right (or below for mobile viewers).
