Our best friends from the USA have arrived for a 3 week vacation! We have been vacationing with the King family for 17 years and this year it’s a nice long one. Yesterday was our first full day in Pedasi with them. Danna and I went on a long and sunburn-producing beach walk and then we went out to the beach club for the husbands’ expat poker game. Quintin tied for the win, the kids had a great time in the pool and found a crab, we came home with a hermit crab and we saw a very large bug!!! We topped off the day with a great meal produced by our cook, Marta. Danna’s daughter, Emily, was very unhappy to hear that Marta would not be cooking this weekend and declared she would not be eating. Everyone needs a Marta!
