Haley hasn’t been at local school all week. Next week the kids are all on a week-long break so this week is testing, which we don’t have to do. So that’s been a nice break for Haley. Zoe went to school today but came home at 9:30 because of no water. Evidently when the power goes out the breaker for the water pump gets flipped and there’s a guy at the school whose job it is to reset the breaker each time. Well instead of doing his job he was hunting iguanas. So he got fired. But the new guy must be doing something else too because he didn’t watch the tank and now it’s empty so no school!
And since we are so close to vacations, the teachers just declared that there’s no class tomorrow either.
I guess it’s the Panamanian version of a snow day.
