From Haley: Day 2 of school
So don’t worry; this one won’t be as long as the last one. I just wanted to give an update on how my day went.
I got there and sat down in class, where I would be spending the next hour or so listening to a gibberish lecture about (I think) our uniforms. One of the worst things about the school is the fact that they failed to put my name on the attendance list, so now, in every class, I have to raise my hand after they call attendance and spell out my name for the teacher. I go to each class with the same group of 22 students (like Hogwarts). After a few classes, the whole entire class started helping me out by shouting “Eylay Cherman” each time. They even memorized how to spell it.
There is this one girl that has blue eyes (blue eyes are very very uncommon here) that looks almost exactly like me, and it’s actually kind of weird. We look so much alike that she has started calling me her sister.
Today was a much better day than yesterday, and I hope it keeps getting better. Thank you for reading
